Achieving Improved Outcomes via Financial Wellness, Employee Education and Video Communications

401k Plan Sponsors face the ever-present challenge of improving plan outcomes for plan participants.  Ardian Hasko, a Certified 401k Professional (C(k)P) retirement plan advisor discusses his three-pronged approach when helping plan sponsors, with Fred Barstein, Founder and CEO of The Retirement Advisor University, a collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education.

Following a TRAU Practice Management Institute (TPMI) Program at Rutgers University, Mr. Hasko stresses a fundamental need to introduce Financial Wellness as the basis for improving participant outcomes. Once company leadership accepts the concepts and principles of Financial Wellness for all employees, the emphasis moves to Educating the Plan Participants.  Education is not a one-and-done effort, but it needs to be an ongoing process. Mr. Hasko has been successful in using one-on-one interviews with senior executives of client organizations.  These interviews involve questions that have been submitted to management – thus providing a consistent response throughout the organization in a format where all plan participants can access the information.
