Ideal 401k Plan – TPSU Alum Convinces Senior Management to Institute. The Ideal 401k Plan, simple and effective, is taught at every TPSU program but very few plans, especially smaller ones, have been able to institute it mostly because it’s hard to get senior management buy-in.
An alumnus of a TPSU program held at Vanderbilt University explains how she got her company to change their plan to include auto-enrollment and re-enrollment, deferral rate starting at 6% escalating at 1% annually with no cap and a stretch match of 50% of the first 10%. Brilliant!
