Chief Retirement Officer (CRO) Role – 401ktv Vlog

Hi, my name is Steff Chalk and I’m executive director of The Plan Sponsor University and 401ktv. I’m here today to talk about the role of the Chief Retirement Officer. The Chief Retirement Officer in organizations has the duty to make sure that people within the organization are saving enough, investing properly and utilizing their resources. So that at retirement age, those who have been saving the proper amounts, will have enough money to retire. To have a 401k plan is only part of the story. When you have a CRO, that CRO moves that 401k plan from just a retirement plan in a company to a plan for the benefit of the employees.
