Borrow Less Today: Fred Talks on 401ktv. UCLA professor Shlomo Benartzi made the concept “Save More Tomorrow” famous in his seminal book by encouraging 401k and 403b participants to sign up today to same more in the future leveraging fundamental behavioral financial concepts.

TPSU Adjunct Lecturer Daniel Bryant, managing director and CEO of Sheridan Road, explains another behavioral finance concept which he calls “Borrow Less Today”.

Many people enter the workforce with bad debt like student loans and credit cards which inhibits their ability to save. Bryant believes that by borrowing less today, workers will be able to save more tomorrow.
