Retirement Committee Members Benefit from Friday’s Virtual Town Hall Meeting

Retirement Committee members who tuned in to the TPSU Virtual Town Hall Meeting last Friday received advice. This advice centered on what they should be experiencing and what they can expect form their 403b and 401k service providers. Retirement Committee members who attended The TPSU VTHM were eligible to receive 1 hour of CE from SHRM – with an opportunity for 3 additional hours!  The panelists reviewed the roles and responsibilities of a Retirement Committee during market volatility and the economic crisis. This was done to best help and protect employees and the sponsoring organization.

The strong panel of experts provided updates last Friday, April 17 at 1:00PM EST.  This one-hour TPSU Virtual Town Hall Meeting continued the trend of keeping Retirement Committee members updated on Crisis Management,  And, (Sheree Knowles, Founder and Chief Human Resources Officer, HR Knowledge Source), Plan Design Options (Michael Olah, Director, Plan Solutions – OneAmerica) and Working with Plan Participants (Ty Parrish, Retirement Plan Adviser – Cerity Partners) showed fiduciaries what to expect.  Each panelist addressed topics from the 2020 CARES Act.    The TPSU Virtual Town Hall Meetings are connecting with an average weekly audience of over 400 plan fiduciaries, Human Resource executives, Fiduciaries, CFOs and Controllers.
