fiduciary educationThe Plan Sponsor University (TPSU) is inviting Fiduciaries and Trustees of 401(k) Plans and those working on their organization’s 403(b) or Defined Benefit Plans to take advantage of a half-day education Program being held at the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Conference Center, 123 McKenna Hall on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.

This TPSU Program has been approved for 5 hours of Continuing Education Credit with human resources associations and a national accounting organization.

Your TPSU Adjunct Lecturers – Tim Rice, C(k)P and Tim VerSchure, C(k)P

Tim Rice, Adjunct Lecturer, The Plan Sponsor University, has over 15 years of experience in the finance industry.  Tim is President of Lakeside Wealth Management where he focuses on both retirement plan advising and wealth management.  Tim previously was employed at Goldman Sachs as a Derivatives Specialist. He has also served in key roles at The Minute Maid Company and Hormel Foods Corporation.

The TPSU Program

The core curriculum being addressed during the day will include the topics of Behavioral Finance, Understanding Retirement Readiness and Measuring the Impact of Outcomes for a Company Retirement Plan.

The U.S. Department of Labor encourages company retirement plan fiduciaries to be proactive in their pursuit of Fiduciary Training and Education so fiduciaries are positioned to be good stewards of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) Plans.
