Fiduciary Education Opportunity for Retirement Plan Fiduciaries and Plan Trustees at Stonehill College – November 10, 2016

The Plan Sponsor University (TPSU) is inviting Fiduciaries and Trustees of 401(k) Plans and those working on their organization’s 403(b) or Defined Benefit Plans to take advantage of a half-day education Program being held Stonehill College on Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.

This TPSU Program has been approved for 5 hours of Continuing Education Credit with human resources associations and a national accounting organization.

Your TPSU Adjunct Lecturer – Jim Sampson, C(k)P

Jim Sampson has served the retirement plan industry for more than 19 years.  Prior to joining Hilb Group, Jim served as the Director of Retirement Services at Telamon Insurance & Financial Network for six years.  He also spent five years as a Pension Sales Consultant with Transamerica Retirement Services and two years as a Benefits Analyst with a local third-party administrator, George Beram & Company.

Jim has received numerous industry awards and recognitions, including:

Jim is a Founding Lecturer of TRAU™ – The Retirement Advisor University™, a collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education, and an Adjunct Lecturer of TPSU™ – The Plan Sponsor University™.  Jim has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ and Certified 401(k) Professional™ designations and earned a BS in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
The TPSU Program

The core curriculum being addressed during the day will include the topics of Behavioral Finance, Understanding Retirement Readiness and Measuring the Impact of Outcomes for a Company Retirement Plan.

The U.S. Department of Labor encourages company retirement plan fiduciaries to be proactive in their pursuit of Fiduciary Training and Education so fiduciaries are positioned to be good stewards of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) Plans.
