Jamie speaks about the challenges in keeping the retirement industry simple for plan sponsors. Starting with the sea of jargon Ms. Greenleaf notes the difficulty for plan sponsors to keep up with industry jargon.

She gives the example of the term “auto enroll” and terms such as “opt-in/opt-out” tend to cause confusion. Using simple language can help plan sponsors understand concepts better and relate to the resources available to fit the needs of participants.
